About Me

Personal Profile

I am a diligent Pilot Instructor with 24 years’ experience of airline operations, most recently employed by a major UK holiday airline as a Captain on the B737-800 and B737-8 MAX. I have a total flight time of 10,000+ hours, with 8,700+ hours on variants of the Boeing 737. I have eight years’ experience in commercial pilot training in both the TKI (Theoretical Knowledge Instructor) and SFI (Synthetic Flight Instructor) roles and both as an airline employee and a freelance.

During my time in aviation training, I have received a lot of very positive feedback from fellow trainers and course attendees on my ability to deliver dynamic and engaging content, both face-to-face in the classroom and on virtual delivery platforms, and in the simulator.

I have recent experience delivering training on fixed base and full motion simulators in the London facilities of Boeing Flight Training, L3 Harris and Quadrant Systems and I have a track record for delivering cost and time effective training for a whole range of candidates on these devices.

Based on the south coast of the United Kingdom, I have ready access to training facilities in the London area, and I would welcome the opportunity to talk to airlines, training delivery organisations and individuals who need a reliable, knowledgable and highly-motivated instructor to lead their B737 Type Rating requirements.
